What’s Shaking? Creative Ways to Boost Flavor With Less Sodium is a national collaborative sodium reduction initiative led by USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS). This initiative supports schools’ efforts to lower the sodium content of their meals by sharing resources and creative ways to boost flavor and maximize student appeal.


What's Shaking Partners

What’s Shaking? Partners consist of over 40 national associations and organizations that are invested in the health of our nation’s children and recognize the importance of healthier school meals. Partners represent sectors from food service and culinary organizations, food companies and industry groups, national and professional associations and affiliates, nonprofit organizations with a focus on child health, and youth engagement organizations.
